Borough Market

I had edited so many beautiful photographs for this post that I’ve had to split it into two!; One to recount my fantabulous day out in London with my fave Bloggesses, and another to show off my winter-warmer outfit (it includes one heck of a jumping jumper that I think you’re going to lu-huve!)

My fantastically festive day with Carrie, Kristabel and Olivia started off at Borough Market just out of London Bridge station. We edged through the crowds to suss-out the best stall in which to purchase of hunk of grub to stuff our starving bellies. After brushing the flour that got stuck on our faces from the bread buns, we briskly trotted off towards the Southbank. Southbank never really arrived however, as our path was gradually infiltrated by a band army, of Santas. Drunk, singing/chanting santas more than you can ever imagine. (But they do all wave at you if you wave at them which is rather amusing…)

After a pitstop at Somerset House to watch the skating, we took a bus up to Camden Passage where we ambled the cobbled vintage-selling streets and sighed as we flicked through the last of the beautiful clothes at Aubin & Wills. A milkshake at Issy’s Milky Way retro coffee bar was a must of our list, as was the incredible juicy dinner at Chicken Shop in Kentish Town afterwards (DO get there early, DO order the apple pie, DO NOT pretend you’re full) before resting our feet back at Carrie’s house.

T’was a delightful day that is still making me smile thinking about it! What have you been up to in the run up to xmas?
