Before these babies, I was pretty much a boot virgin. Yep, really. Apart from a pair of pointy pixie boots that I’ve barely worn (that have a sort of baggy, ruffled ankle) I have been t-total in the bootie dept. I think I’ve always associated them with posh middle aged ladies who ‘ride’, who are just so ‘classic’ that just the thought of their smooth, glossy navy knee-high boot over jean combo just makes wilt and weep a bit inside. I found them ugly.
Then fashion came along and shook things up a bit – threw a bit of glitter in the mix, rubbed them up with a bit of grunge cream and there, BAM. Boots – I want them. (Disclaimer – I’m talking about cute ankle boots btw, any higher and I still shudder, sorry) Since I got the chance to try these Tamaris boots, I’ve been going a bit crazy and have discovered the power of the boot-let. Here, I’ve decided to document my day in my new friends to show you just how much I bloody love them.
In the Office!
Why all day? Well, the reason I am so far in love with these tan-tastic Tamaris boots is that they are fitted with an antishokk cushioning in the heel. That means everytime I put my foot down, my heel is treated to a what feels like my memory-foam pillow hugging me. It’s devine and now I want every shoe to have this function. Please.
My feet lasted through a pretty mad day, from a morning in the office (YES I HAVE A NEW JOB AT ASOS aaaghhblsqzp!) to picking up lighting equipment, attending the Dahlia Blogger’s party and then shooting an Instagram photoshoot in Carnaby street. Just, you know – the usual…
At the Carnaby Shopping Party!
Nubuc Leather Glitter Ankle Boots – Tamaris (antishokk range) / Dress – Dahlia / Socks – ASOS / Cardigan – Lacoste from charity shop / Crayon Necklace – Hannah Makes Things (sold in Style Showroom in Kingly Court, Carnaby) / Gold Prism Necklace – Gogo Philip / Jacket – Barbour / Green box bag – Charity Shop

Take it from a boot addict…. Your hooked!!
Those boots are lush – you picked a good pair to take your boot cherry : ) I’ve seen a similar glitter-covered pair in New Look that I’m tempted to get, but while I love boots, I’m rubbish at walking in heels. x
So, I have been looking for a new pair of boots and you have provided me with them! I wanted something a little bit interesting but with a low heel, and these perfectly fit the bill. Especially with the antishock bit!
From my tweet you should be well aware that I adore this! Just ALL of it. The dress is so pretty and lovely, your look just looks totally amazing and I adore the boots. SUCH A BABE!! YES XX
Love these! I have a similar pair on my Christmas list, really hoping that Santa takes the mega hint and these arrive on Christmas morning!!!

These boots are lovely! I used to be terrified of ankle boots but actually recently they are all I seem to buy!
