JB’s Diner and the Lanes
I think I need to be slapped in the face a little more often these days. It’s so easy to settle into a rhythm of life, or in my case, spend every week getting through and working out what on earth I’m attempting to do with my career/life. One such jolt to the system/slap in the face was a trip down to Brighton with my galpals – a perfect day out to mix things up a bit and get some healthy sea air!
It was a lovely day doing things that Blogging girls love doing best (funny how my online life has actually merged into my real life!) we visited JB’s diner for lunch, snapped each other/food, ambled down the pier, took photos, ventured into the lanes, took photos and then finally managed to see the much anticipated Biba and Beyond: the Barbara Hulanicki exhibition at the Brighton Museum where, unsurprisingly, we took lots of photos! (Post to come on that soon!)
I chose a 90’s children’s get-up as my costume for the day! I’m very pleased to be able to show you my fave new jeans – the PERFECT high waisted pair for a couple of squid in my local chazza shop! AND my white Office shoes, bought in the end of summer sale. (£10!! And these have to be next.) I just had to get to inject a bit of Niotillfem in my life!
Olivia, Dunya, Kristabel, Carrie and I had so much fun, it was just lovely to be out and about exploring again and to come back refreshed and enlightened! So if anyone fancies whisking me away to another city somewhere soon, I’m due another shake up! Thank you Carrie and Kristabel for the photos – Shots at the top of the post by Carrie. (nicked em- soz)
