Sucker for Stationery
Much like you (totally hazarding a guess here) I’m pretty big on stationery. Back in the days of pencil cases (lol) I was that kid who had one bursting full of her favourite pens and pencils (a Pukka pencil with the dolls head as a rubber was a personal fave) that just annoyingly inspired boys to hassel me for ink-dispensing essentials at the start of EVERY class.
Not only that but I ALSO wielded a fat pecil case dedicated wholly to my water colour pencil and felt pen collection. Approximately once a month I would obsess over the process of pen testing whereby forgotten felt tips would be scribbled on scrap paper and assessed for their ink flow reliability.
Then there was paper. ‘Hoarding’ doesn’t really come close to describing my paper-filing tendencies. I would actively search for scraps of shiny cardboard from packaging just in case I might like to use it in a greeting card design some day.
My appreciation for pens and paper certainly still is prominent but as I’ve gotten older I’ve taken to collecting pieces as art. Cards held by gold clips hanging off nails are my latest bedroom adornments and my print collection is fast taking over any available vertical space.
With a little help from some of my favourite indie brands, here are a few pieces I’ve got stored up for a rainy day.
What’s your favourite collection?

All these collections are so aesthetically pleasing! I love all of them but my 10 year old self would’ve gone mad for the pretty kittie stuff! 🙂
