How to dress like a 12 year old
Even as I approach my 26th anniversary of existence, I still find my juvenile side coming out now and again. Just as I thought my style was maturing (I work at Boden now ladies), mini me likes to come out to play once in a while.
I’m still sporting turtle necks these days (got this very one on as I type). The addition of a chambray pinafore dress and a pastel rain Mac takes it from sophisticated to sixth form and hey, I’m cool with that.
I’m highly into my second pair of Nike Juvenates at the moment. Whilst they’re not the best option for rainy days, that mesh upper is so darn supple and breathable and the sole so thin, you’re basically walking on air. NB. Be careful if you’re prone to your feet rolling in or out like me though. You don’t want to be paying a visit to the Podiatrist. (That’s a foot doctor FYI.)
Colourful Walls of Shoreditch
Let’s just take a second to point out how well this outfit camouflages against the colourful walls of Shoreditch! A quick Google search for ‘painted walls east london’ brought up a shot of Stella Kattermann expertly posing by this cxx street facade. Easy peasey, that’s where I’d be shooting!
If pink and blue pastels combos are up your street (not necessarily literally), then you’ll love Livs blog and insta lately for all its bright pastely goodness. Check it.
