Last weekend London struck luck with the weather and so Sarah and I popped down to Columbia Road for some flower-picking, our first iced lattes of the year and to score some snaps in the cute lanes. It was the first time wearing this jazzy Boden Vivienne suit from the second of their ICONS collections. Remember when the girls and I shot in the first Boden ICONS collection at Carrie’s super sixties home?
Since then the Boden ICONS collection has had a summery make-over. Set in the Edwardian times, the collection has flown through India before being cut into modern shapes by the in-house designers and pattern cutters. This is definitely my favourite collection yet. Just look at those prints!
As soon as I spotted this behind the scenes shots on Instagram of their Events Manager Plum in the Vivienne suit, I knew it must be mine. The royal purple floral print is impressive enough but the piping detailing adds a little extra and the centrepiece, a blue peacock in the print, shows off the luxurious, no scrimping side of the collection.
Sure, it’s pricier than your average co-ord but in silk and with this much wow-factor, it’s got to be worth it. Despite only launching at noon today, some of the pieces in the 23-piece strong collection have sold out so if you like what you see, get on it!
