Fortnum & Mason at St. Pancras Station

Think Fortnum & Mason and images of an ornate facade on a majestic building in the heart of London’s Piccadilly will come to mind. Or maybe window displays that look like offerings of the crown jewels and rooms like Aladdin’s caves spilling out exotic teas, fragrance, fine preserves and other concoctions held in splendid colourful tins perhaps? Well in my mind anyway!

For the first time in over 300 years, the independent department store have opened their second UK Fortnum & Mason shop and tea salon in bustling St Pancras station, meaning you can grab a beautiful box of British biccies or treat yourself to a divine Sacher Torte and tea before you glide off to greet your friends in Paris, darling!

Marvel at the reproduction 1863 clock, a deconstructed hommage to their Piccadilly timepiece whilst settling down to braised venison or afternoon tea fancies if you can’t wait until Paris for your macaron fix! Next time I need to catch the Eurostar, I’ll be sure to arrive at least two hours early!

Fortnum & Mason is open 7am – 9pm in Kings Cross st. Pancras Station, London.

Ohh….very nice…I haven’t needed to head that way for yonks….but I think I need to detour at some point…as there seems to be a lot of good things popping up!
