Parliament Hill Fields, London
Autumn has truly kicked in in London and the harvest season is here baring fruits of pumpkins, gourds and apples. Dear god, so. many. apples..! Compots, pies, tarts and fresh ‘n’ crunchy. No matter what form, my family and I can’t consume those apples at the same rate as we’re accumulating them. So, if I go quiet for a while, maybe drop me a tweet to check I haven’t drowned in a kitchen of Cox’s please? Cheers.
Apples aside… A few weekends ago I stayed at my best friends house. Out we trotted on Saturday morning to a sweet little farmers market where the doggy creche was booming and infants run around petting the pups one by one. Back we came with arms full of bread and juice for a picnic with the girls later in the day.
I surprised myself with my all grey and black ensemble – who would ever think it?! Luckily the beautiful red leaves added a splash of colour to the day as I went around ‘getting my Kavita on’ in wet look panel leggings, studs and fun Fickle temporary tattoos. It was Miss She Wears Fashion who convinced me I could pull off a studded cap like hers. I’m not convinced I rock it as well her her but they are quite fun! (to stir up the farmer’s market in of course.)
