London Fashion Week
I don’t ‘do’ Fashion Week but I did find myself back at Somerset House this London Fashion Week not for my own bloggy, but to snap other stylish Bloggesses for a street style gallery to feature on ASOS Fashion Finder where I do my 9-5. When I first came to the cobbles 3 years ago, I had a lot to learn of ‘fashion week style.’ From finally clocking that it wasn’t worth wearing stupid heels (if I can’t wear them down a path then why the hell attempt looking fabulous floating over boulders ??) to realising I wasn’t fashion-telepathic enough to dress in the trends of next year, so I may as well just wear something nice that I’d wear any day.
After snapping friends and new faces for the gallery, Kristabel, Kim and I took the chance to get snap-happy before heading off for a well earned dry off and cuppa lemon and ginger at Bills cafe. Keeping my bum toasty in the drizzle was my newest crazy purchase from Weekday in Stockholm, stolen from a teddy bear perhaps? Thanks to Kristabels excellent Scandinavian store awareness, she guided me to the shops and allowed me to fall in love with all the unusual textures and simplified colour palletes.
I do love an interesting texture mix so the fluffy skirt, coupled with a metallic ASOS T-shirt and chunky New Look boots that I spotted, snapped up and kept in hibernation till the puddles came, was just the right combo!
Did you see what else I got up to when visiting Stockholm?
