Cath Kidston’s New Book!
Cath Kidston launch their pretty new book Coming Up Roses to celebrate their big 20th anniversary. Find out all about Cath’s journey from her little idea to a global brand. I’ve yet to read it but judging by the photos, it’ll be a beautiful and inspiring read. You can also buy the signed book in a beautiful box if you’re feeling fancy!
I absolutely blooming adore Fairground and have been hankering after this fun sequin smiley rainbow T-shirt for ages! I was very lucky to be treated to it and the sequin WOW T-shirt for my birthday by my doll, Olivia – she knows me too well! Luckily the long, slinky fit is perfect and the jersey wonderful and soft, they’re my new favourite T’s.
Tiny Bit of Tech
As mentioned in my birthday wishlist, I was a little desperado for some new music-playing head gear so these Jabra Revo wireless headphones were very gratefully received! For the techies, they’re pretty cool as you can use them without the lead, just connect to your phone with bluetooth and you’re off! Change the volume by touching the outside earpiece and sit on them if you must – they’re totally twistable!
I’m also loving this cute colourful Bamboo stylus solo pen for my phone, makes a nice change from grubby thumbs. Use these two together and you’ll feel like you’re a receptionist from the future when you rock them down the street.
Back to the Nineties!
Bring back childhood summers! I love my new pink SunJellies and Lazy Oaf temporary tattoos, what more do you need when feeling nostalgic for those nineties birthday parties or trips to the beach. I wore my jelly shoes on holiday to Barcelona the other week and didn’t tread anywhere near a blister, though I did get some pretty groovy foot tan triangles.
Summer Beauty Essentials
How cute is that Anorak boat print toiletry bag? Tres cute, you’re right. My last make up case was tearing apart so this one has gladly jumped in to fill it’s place and has me dreaming of coastal adventures. I’ve filled it with 3 beauty pieces that I love; a Mirenesse lip crayon (irridescent, sweet smelling and so soft) which came in my last BirchBox beauty box, a bright pink lip pencil from Illamasqua and an atomiser of Iris Prima, the fascinating fragrance due to launch in September from British perfumers Penhaligon’s which was created with the English National Ballet.
These Hope & Greenwood Sunshine Festivals sweets are summer in boiled sugar form. If I have any left by the time the music starts, they’ll be in my bumbag for easy grabbing when you need some sweet kicks.
My latest jewellery love comes courtesy of my dear friend Kristabel who knew I’d love this pink Next necklace and Jelly Pong Pong lipstick. Adding these pearl ears from Claire’s Accessories (who have just launched their shoppable site!) would make the perfect festival look don’t you think?
Bring on the summer!
