Kurt Geiger Shoe Boot

Me and this Klarissa1 lace up shoe go way back. I fell deeply, madly in love with these Kurt Geiger hotties about a year and half ago when I worked at Liberty. I must have stood there for a good half hour salivating over them (don’t tell anyone!) Even with 35% off staff discount, I couldn’t bring myself to purchase a hunk of £150 foot fancy. Sad face indeed.

But then I came to ASOS where – my gosh – they were there, on sale! With my rather impressive 40% off, there were no questions asked. No, I can’t walk in them and yes it’s ridiculous, but like investing in a sculpture, seeing them brings me joy (and stroking them a bit…)

Nothing like a collection of new nail varnishes to start off your year! My most recent acquisitions comprise of deep sea colours and I’ve been matching Topshop’s turquoise one to my looks recently (can’t get enough of the colour!) I can’t wait to try the maroon OPI shade too… grungey. As for accessories, I’m really enjoying the costume jewellery come-back! These ASOS drop earrings were a steal at a fiver. Sadly they’re all goowwn but these are quite similar. The metal sea cucumber on my finger is a cute way to toughen up from

I’m just so in love with their stickers print!! Eurgh food with faces and slightly gammy looking cats – can’t get enough. I picked up the stickers Tshirt at their sample sale and the leggings were an xmas gift. Now I just need the shirt!… Yesterday I wore my new leopard jumper which was a granted wish for xmas from ASOS. Think I’ll be wearing a lot in the transaction through spring.

This was a biggie on my Christmas Wishlist and luckily I received from my good old dad! I’m really looking forward to learning all about the unsung hero of Vogue and her modelling years in particular. I’m sure there’ll be lots of chatting about it with my friends Mariell and Cait seeing as they’ve both unwrapped it on Christmas morning too!

Bits and Bobs

Speaking of Christmas, I also got given this fab Benefit brow-zing eyebrow kit from Carrie which is just what I wanted to spruce up my make-up kit for 2013! It’s one of those products that once you have, you can’t ‘live without’. Look out for my power-brows in future posts and yes, I’m still hoping for that ‘perfect brow’ epiphany, where you discover your shape!

I’ve finally added the Lazy Oaf cat ring to my ever growing finger-bling collection and also finally joined the nail art crew with this WAH pink pen, both courtesy of my bro. As for treats for myself, I picked up this ASOS sequin heart back top in our staff sale and bought my fave mag, Jalouse when in France for the holidays. A good little loot to start the year off nicely don’t you think?!

Yay for sales and gifts! Being a complete cat lady myself I am in love with the cat ring and pj’s, so cute! Those KG shoes are rather special too, every time I go to the website I end up with around 5 pairs of shoes that I very nearly buy and then don’t. Haha! xx
