Sequins, Glitter and Shine!

Are you set for new years eve? Do you know where you’re going? and more importantly, do you know what sparkly, shiny outfit you’re going to rock?! Amazing! I don’t! Well, I do know where I’ll be – at a friends house – a different one each year, where my big group of dear old school friends and I meet for laughs, drinks and music. Stuff dodging crowds and paying all of last months salary on getting home gaining only a headache, house parties are where it’s at – don’t you agree?

As for the outfit – well that’s still undecided and that’s where I’d love you to help me! The first option is the look I wore to the ASOS xmas party and I loved it. I just had to treat myself to the Lashes sequin top with the sheer back as I’ve been drooling over everything shiny lately *sequiny slobber*. That’s where my second treat stemmed from – my new TFNC London strapless dress was a perfect catch from the sample sale at work for a stupid price. Yeah!! The latter hasn’t been taken for a spin yet, but I fear it may be a little too much..?

As if these to outfits weren’t enough to choose from, I’ve also got a few last minute sparkly heel and dress ideas. From ladylike shoes from good old Clarks, to these dashing Blink heels - it’s always good to have options!

So which looks shall I go for?

  4. I’m one of life’s more indecisive people so probably not best to ask. BUT I am also big time feeling the magpie vibe. And I’m feeling tempted to bag that dress in the gold! In fact I’ve just been away for about 10mins and bought it. Consider me well jel of your work sample sales!

  5. I think the beauty of a house party is that you can wear whatever you like.. and it CAN be WAAAAY too much! How about the dress with a bomber jacket or sneakers, to make it a little more house-party friendly? Or since you’ll be with friends.. dress it up even more with a tulle underskirt, and just feel sorry for those who aren’t OTT.

  6. Both these outfits are so beautiful and sparkly, either would look great. I’d say go for the second one though as you have yet to wear it. Plus you’ll be inside so it won’t matter if you get chilly in the strapless dress x

  11. I love both – I love the fact that both have elements of turquoise in the theme (that clutch is lovely) and I adore the Bonjour belt. The first one is classier but I’d go for the second one because it is just so fun and perfect for NYE!
