The last of the (not so) Wilderness!

I was so happy when I bought these rather statement shorts in a flash half-price sale at Rokit in Shoreditch. I bought them along with the yellow dress I wore in my last Wilderness Festival post and like the dress, they became some of my favourite pieces for the summer. I’d been on the look out for a pair of bloomers all of the last season after seeing some in the dictatorship that is Topshop. I’m really pleased I held out for these, as I found that dressing as a watermelon was both A.) Very good fun and B.) Very easy for me to achieve as I own so many watermelon related items of clothing.

From my ombre netting top, which I wore with a jacket from Joy here, to watermelon print socks from New Look and of course my awesome top from Lazy Oaf. (Both of which I wore in my last melon-themed post) This is definitely on my wish list for a winter option – I feel a belated trend coming on in my wardrobe! If you have a particular fruit (or hey why not open it out to all foods?!) that you like to dress up as, I’d love to know!!

Here are some other shots I took of Carrie and I enjoying Wilderness thanks to Barbour:

Watermelons have been my all time favourite. I love it. Seeing the outfits inspired by watermelon is lovely. I would definitely like to try out the watermelon printed bloomers in rich red colour.

I feel it is very lucky both you and Carrie have the same shoe size!

Actually we dont! Hahaha it’s very annoying because we both have loads of shoes but can’t share. These were slightly too big on Carrie and too small for me but hey, they’re sandals! x
