The lovely Amy He of Mod Dolly with her lookbook featuring Olivia looking gorge throughout!
Nothing like a scone (or three) and a cup of tea!
I know, I know it’s Autumn now – but please let me post a few more summery posts! There’s no way you’ll catch me with my legs out like this for another 6 months but the presence of scones and tea is transitional so it’s fiiine!
Welcome along to The Tea Rooms on Stoke Newington road (a lovely yummymummyish area of London with a village vibe, packed with tearooms and gift shops) where I met the creator of new indie girly label Mod Dolly. I’d heard a little about the brand floating on the internet, and was pleasantly surprised to see my beautiful friend Liv looking ethereal through Wish Magazine photographer Kitty Gallannaugh‘s lens in my email invite! Sadly the two girls couldn’t make it but I had good company in my French cousin Lorene, a lovely French speaking Blogger (we were all piercing the air by gossiping in our native tongue!) and of course the admirable Amy who had put together the beautiful lookbook.
Pink palm tree playsuit – Topshop / Lace jacket – c/o Darling / Studded nude flats – New Look (similar from Office here or here!) / Leah Bag – Mulberry / Regiment of Dreamers necklace – Fairytales and Hidden Notes / Turquoise watch – Guess
Amy’s Mod Dolly site is adorable, offering her own hand made playsuits and dresses as well as reworked, vintage and indie brand pieces (I love this playsuit!) – perfect for those of you who love Wish Magazine! I was impressed to chat to someone my age who had taken the leap to start her own little business – it was inspiring and I was very thankful for all the treats she put on for us – Good luck Amy! Thank you Kristabel for the photos.
