Wild wild Oxfordshire

Last weekend, Carrie and I were treated to tickets to the wildest festival I’ve been to in years by the lovely people at Barbour - Wilderness Festival! I wouldn’t be surprised if looking at these pictures, you might wonder where all the stands, festival bunting and pretty girls in floaty dresses are. Don’t worry, there was plenty of that but they were all a wild walk away.

We loved the fact that we could escape the festival hustle and stroll down into a scene from a Little House on the Prairie. The ‘wilderness’ served up the perfect set with tall, swishy grass, long woodland lined paths and a beautiful distant vision of horses traipsing back in convoy to their boxes after a day taking children cross country. It was so fun to just sit and take out-of-focus photos of ourselves and pretend to chew corn in the shade.

Talking of being out of the sun, it may seem like we were a tad chilly on our summer festival vacation. We weren’t! I just couldn’t take off my jumper as I loved the way it looked with my cut offs and Liberty print lined shirt! Coupled with my new Specsavers glasses, Barbour helped me create the perfect country geek girl look with their jumper, shirt and jacket combo which I’d wanted for ages!

More about what we got up to at Wilderness Festival coming up next! You can see what I decided to pack over at the Barbour blog, it might be useful if you’re planning to go to a festival soon yourself!

Thanks Carrie for the photos.

    • Hey Jen!
These are Barbour actually! ;) They’re cheaper than Hunters – I have both and can’t tell the difference so that’s sold for me! xx

  1. You look gorgeous, as always! The colour of the boots & jumper compliment each other so well. Also, having a quick read through your bio, I didn’t know you were from Dorking. I live not too far from there now! xo

Welcome, I'm Lucy! Happy reading and don't forget to smile!

Coucou! Je parle francais aussi!
