Love Lulu Guinness!
This month, me and the Take 10 girls* partnered up with UT by Uniqlo to see how we could interpret British style. I do love a good British-themed exercise, as I’m sure you might know, so I was pretty excited about this months challenge! We each chose between Lulu Guinness, Orla Kiely and Laura Ashley x Uniqlo collaborative Ts and after seeing this T-shirt by Lulu on Vogue.com, there was nooo way I wasn’t picking her! The drawn-on style stripes on the sleeves are my favourite bit which also feature on my other favourite T-shirt which Olivia had the pleasure to style! (See last image)
To British-it-up, I paired my T with a bit of a boarding school look, including my charity shop pleated skirt, Rokit Vintage hat and chunky school-like laced brogue heels (nice and shiny, of course!) plus my Topshop suit jacket which I littered with my old school badges (yep, I was bit of a boffin.) After stealing some red accessories from my housemate, I was set to head for that perfect red post box and this beautiful gate down the road which for now will stand for my imaginary boarding school! Please dream with me a minute!
(*a super-cool group of us Bloggers each style an item of clothing from a chosen brand and reveal our different looks each month!)
