Delicious carrot, apple and beetroot salad and broccoli, hazelnut and feta salad freshly prepared by Fiona and jerk chicken by Kristabel with prosecco and green tea cocktails.
I turned 22 on Saturday and to celebrate, invited a handful of friends over for a ‘bring-a-bit-with-you’ buffet. We all had to play musical chairs throughout the afternoon as there weren’t enough seats for bottoms! But it all worked out fine as there was always a couple of people in the kitchen prepping something tasty. It was such a lovely afternoon – we all ate delicious, special foods that everyone had lovingly made with their own hands. Ranging from a delicious ham platter by Carrie and my stinky cheeseboard, to Mariell and Josteins scones and teeny madeleines wrapped in polka dot cellophane and a velvet ribbon. We drank prosecco, pimm’s and raspberry vodka and had a jolly good chin-wag. The best way to get older – thank you everyone!
