Inspiration – What’s Exciting Me This Month!

I thought I’d take a little break from the Things I Wore and Things I was very Kindly Gifted and Invited To shebang and bring you a tad closer to my current thinking – A stroll, a doddle through my mind if you will! These are some of the images that I love at the moment and that are inspiring me through this year. Even though I’m meant to be in ‘Fashion’, I can see from these that I’m very much drifting towards products and objects, art direction and romantic imagery. Maybe that’s a bit of the blogger in me, and maybe a bit of nurturing Liberty has given me by working as a Visual Merchandiser. Either way, I’m excited to be working on some fun and insightful projects. My current one is going to be feature people who work in Fashion and their things; Objects that we can read into that tell us about their job, hobbies and past. I’m really looking forward to photographing the displays and of course, showing you – wish me luck!

    >Yep, totally inspiring for me.

    Have a great weekend.

PS. So did you take up postcrossing in the summer or didn't you? I'm still on it and I've got some pretty stunning art.

    >That lampshade hanging off the ceiling in the second photo is amazing! You've put a ton of stuff that I like on one page 🙂

    >I absolutely love photos of beautifully arranged things! I do love fashion, but I also love reading blogs about graphic design, interiors and all sorts of beautiful other things – so I love it when you share things like this, or the snippets of your visual merchandising work with us!
