My Fashion Night Out

Lazy Oaf

Liberty – Motel Honolulu

Kipling – JCDC

Did you come out in London for Fashion’s Night Out? If you did, I hope you had lots of fun, felt the buzz, saw beautiful people and had a free cocktail/champagne or five! Although the intended purpose of the event is to get more people shopping, I must admit there wasn’t much evidence of that – not from me certainly who only has about 12p to her name these days! Instead fashion affectionados were seen Bangle Bowling, standing as close as possible to the drinks exit (guilty! eek!) and generally oohing and aaahing at the goings on while trying to look cool. I’m really quite sad I couldn’t even muster enough to get the fantastic FNO T shirt designed by Rob Ryan as I absolutely loved it!

HermesMy evening started in Lazy Oaf where the lovely Jerry welcomed me to their new collection – yum yum! Next up – the Mothership Liberty where I had been working in glittery surroundings that very day. My colleagues had set up the Mahiki bar and Motel Honolulu decor. Liberty celebrated the new Lulo & Co collection which I adore! Next up a quick peak at the JCDC collection from Kipling whereThe Illustrated Nail were creating JCDC designs. Too bad I didn’t have time for a nailover as thats right up my fashion street! Next up, Burberry where we were beautifully doused in Body the new fragrance. Sadly Mulberry had the most ridiculous queue so I stood outside and appreciated the nut stand instead.

Premier Inn – BED!Lastly Box Boutique had divine cocktails and live illustrations. phew! After all that I was happy as larry to flop into Premier Inn who very kindly gave me a room to try and a very generous bottle of pink bubbly! What a perfect place to stay as it was so close to all the action and meant that after a hearty full breakfast in the morning I was up again and back to work by 8! Might just have to spend Fashion Week there too!
