Lucy Goes to Longleat

The Zoo

I wonder who lives here…

The Gardens

The Safari
Longleat Adventure Park is like 3 marvellous days out in one. There’s so much to see: The Zoo, Gardens, Safari, Maze and the House (which unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take photos in but was beautiful). By the end of the day my eyes were aching lovingly for all I had seen and taken in. I sound like a complete child but then that’s sort of the point – these sorts of trips take you back to those days where you learnt about your exisitance and surroundings through looking at other animals and places. I had lots of favourites at Longleat – my mate the Parrot (and his INCREDIBLE show with his mates where they are trained to push little cars along and pick up little all in the name of environmental education…), the little lumps of Guinea-pigs, the Lorakeet birds, Butterfly House, Camels, Lions, huge copper adorned kitchens of Longleat House and of course, the beautiful Deer. Me and Carrie sighed as she told of Audrey Hepburn owning one as a pet, how dreamy is that?! The day costs just Β£26 which, if you stay the whole day is absolutely worth it. I found myself spending an age in the House, it was full of historical gems and intricacies
so my tip is leave lots of time for that!
p.s If you’d like to see what I wore, see here!

    >I loveeee Longleat! Gorgeous place and you've taken some wonderful photos! My favourite on the safari were the monkeys hilariously vandalising all the cars. Good memories!

    >That's one very fashion conscious parrot. Love his colours. Could do with one or two of his feathers – would make a gorgeous pair of earrings!

    Brilliant pics.
