Mulberry Delight

Mulberry – A brand I absolutely adore and one of England’s biggest fashion success stories of the moment. The brand is going from strength to strength and touted as having the potential to equal the accolades of Burberry. Last month I visited the brands birthplace in Shepton Mallet and had the honour of a complete surprise meeting with the founder Roger Saul! (To see his latest big Somerset venture see Carries latest post) I thought you might be interested to see the naughty purchase I made last time I visited the Factory Store.
Now I’m a fashion student who likes to save but who is equally more than pleased when ‘treat time’ comes around. The time where some excuse like I did well in my 2nd year of uni is thought up in order to justify buying something more than a little over budget. One of the reasons I now have no monies is this splurge but when prices are soooo much lower than in other stores, you kind of have to right?! After seeing these shoes on the website and luu-hhsting, I knew they had to be snapped up when they were in the shop. I don’t know really why I thought I could spend it, I just fell in love. Yep, I fell in love with shoes. I think someone should thrust some tablets and needles in me because this growing condition is both dangerous and ridiculous. *slaps wrist* …
… But aren’t they just lovely?!

Blouse (see here for my styled post of it!) – £19 from £200
Flocked lace T-shirt – £30 from around £150
Yellow Suede Ballerina Wedge Moccasins £175 from £350

    >Lusting after shoes?! I really can't understand you girl. … ?!? Ahem, I guess all of us can understand you. Also the splurge on these fantastic shoes is totally understandable, they are rather nice. So, don't you worry you are in good company.

    Have a great new week.

    >I like so much those shoes.

    >The shoes are indeed lovely! As are the clothes – what bargains, especially for Mulberry! Investing in things that'll last you a while even if they're expensive is better than having to buy new things all the time – just think of it in that way! I read Carrie's post last night – love the fact that he's started up a designer outlet in Shepton Mallet!

    >I'm currently deciding whether or not to buy an Alexa from there with my 21st birthday money… I'd love one but obviously even reduced they are still so expensive! I really love that tee shirt, can't wait to see it in a post!
