The Homely Hatch

Surrey Sunset
Aaah it’s jolly nice to go back to your home county when living in the big city (well just out of but shh!) and this most recent trip was one of the nicest for the rolling hills near Guildford were looking particularly splendid. On this fine evening, my boyfriend and I popped to the Wotton Hatch located on the Dorking to Guildford scenic route in South East England. It’s right near his house and is just beautiful with lush views and a quirky mirror arbour – not to mention serving food and drink on the rather exotic side of quaint British county resto menus. Ever the explorer, he chose watermelon, ham and ‘Chile Ice Cream’ whilst I chose a more reserved duck and plum ‘Pizza’. I wanted to show you my darling new skirt in a ‘swooshier’ light – here it is looking a little limper than usual but I love it. Have you found that once you’ve tried a maxi there’s no going back? Have you been sucked in my it’s comfiness too?!

    >Hi! I just saw a picture of you on Jazzabelle's Diary, and thought "what am I doing there?"
Really at first glance we resemble each other. A bit. Maybe not much. 🙂
Still, I'm glad to have found your blog! You have wonderful style! 🙂

    >I am jealous of how well you carry off glasses- I have them, but prefer to wear contact lenses because they make me feel about 15. You look so wonderfully artistic in them. And this post has reminded me that I really need to get one of those Liberty tie watches! The food is making me drool somewhat.
