Shopping Travel

>Purple Velvet

Welcome to Velvet, a cute little homewear and gift shop at the mouth of the famous Brighton Lanes. I loved this shop as soon as I walked in because I could tell it had some fun one-off objects that I wouldn’t find anywhere else. There seem to be a lot of shops around trying to sell kitsch and romantic bits and bobs for your home but after a while you see them everywhere… Velvet sells amazing furniture and clothes too but it was the little bits of junk that I loved most.
The shop assistants were lovely letting me take pics and oogling for far too long! My favourite items were £2 rolls of fun wrapping papers, the pear keyrings and this adorable kitty lunch bag (below). Oh how I wish I could take it to Uni!
So if you find yourself down on the pebbled beach front, make your way up to the Lanes, there are some lovely other little indie shops to satisfy the cutsie cravings!
See their brilliant website with stunning 360 views of the store!
And please come back soon for another similar outfit post to the last one 🙂

    >Argh! It's so twee and lovely and I want to go shopping in it! I love how they have iced 'biscuits' and 'fairycakes' on tea stands. :))
