>Exploring Bristol :)

>

If you follow me on Twitter, you may have heard that I had a jolly good time wandering alone around the streets of Bristol a couple of days ago.
It was so wonderful being able to spend as long as I liked looking at all the wonders of the city and going wherever an intriguing path took me.

Over the two days I’m sure I walked more than I do in 2 weeks!.. and then there were the inclines, I hope the pain was worth it!
But all this covered ground meant I had the opportunity to discover a large amount of places and I can’t wait to share them; A shop called shop, an awesome exhibition, a famous market aaand more!

Here’s a little looky at the town to feel the vibe

University Hall and one of many cute antique shops

A cute little entrance and sign to 7, an urban grotto selling trainers etc along Park Street Avenue which has a couple of cool bars.

There are some such lovely houses around Cothham. I found myself just wandering up residential roads dreaming of living in the tall, grand houses which look like they should stand majestically in a country park!

The newly gentrified Cabot Circus is a proud and snazzy new shopping area by the rather soggy looking Broadmead. Go and play with giant toys, climb on the massive ‘BRISTOL’ letters and appreciate the old building elements mixed stylishly into new development.

The old castle grounds by the river are beautiful. The partially ruined castle looks impressive overlooking the pretty park. The steps down on the left are a peep into the secret tunnel which was used as an escape out of the castle when it was under attack. It sneakily came out of a house so it wasn’t obvious at all.
