My New Mulberry

Pretty Picture by Carrie

I am still recovering from Post-Glasto Gloominess, I long to be back lounging by the stone circle, resting my overworked legs with my lovely Bestie, Carrie. But its ok, I shall soon be posting my memories from the festival which for many, and now for me, define summer. For now, it is simply imperitive that you go and have a swoon over at Carries. But hush me, whats all this longing and complaining when .. oh!? Whats this I’m sporting in Carries’ last few posts..?Gush gush gushh! Its my new Mulberry bag. I thought the day of purchasing a real fashion item were too far ahead for even my fairly long legs to chase after but then, I swooped early and caught the worm/bag.

I acquired her after a trip to the haven that is the Mulberry factory shop in Shepton Mallet (Definitely worth the train&bus journey!) I just couldn’t leave until I had purchased a bag!

Like Miss WishWishWish herself who always sports the top Mulberry beaut, (The Alexa – Duh!), I have gone and joined the club. Please welcome my new love, Leah:

She’s a wonderful, roomy Mushroom and no doubt a practical ‘throw-it-in’ bag with the added advantage of becoming a cuddly toy when hugged. I love the rose gold hardwear best; little blots, tree-punched studs and a Mulberry coin are so cute! Her only downfall is that I want to wear her with everything and in every situation. This poses problems as to how to protect her soft Lambskin bum from such hazardous situations as public toilets or sheltering her soft sides from dressed up men as Disney characters blowing bubbles…A dickie bird told me that she’s flown off the shelves after a certain Ms Bosworth wore another Leah in the range! They’re pretty awesome too, check them out! Which is your favourite?

To celebrate the joys of Mulberry and the huge presence of Glasto on my trip to Somerset last week, I am throwing out my first little giveaway – whoop whoop indeed!
To win this little pack of:
9 Glastonbury & Mulberry postcards and 6 Mulberry Badges in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the worlds greatest festival! So you can send cards from your summer festivals and look awesomely accessorised whilst doing it!
Simply leave me a cheerful ‘lil message below!
(If you don’t have your own blog/blogger account please leave an email address)
One person will be picked out at random. Goodluck!

I saw the pictures of Glastonbury over at Carrie's blog and I have to admit, it has made me promise myself to go next year. I was very intrigued by the massive knitting needles! πŸ™‚ xxx
