>Emma Cooks up Treats at Topshop

>

Emma Cook is a quite a friend of Topshop.
She has popped up in Topshop before with her capsule collection available to buy in the store but I’m not talking about that… for now…

I’m talking about her dreamy little film that was screened in the Topshop Space in Covent Garden during LFW.
Guests could wander in, pinch a baggy o popcorn and have a peaceful nibble whilst sitting back and watching the serene looped video featuring model Roos.
The camera presented close ups of each outfit imposed over long shots, allowing the viewer to take in each piece in detail, as if you picked up the garment yourself. Roos amused herself by walking around, posing, dancing a little whilst wearing a series of pretty, short sheer dresses, some with ethnic style beading and some with English country garden style flowers. These were my favourite outifts, I loved the unsaturated pink foxglove motif on big Tshirt dresses!
I hope Foxgloves prints will find themselves onto High Street fabrics next season! Dreamyy.

If many other audience members felt like me when they left the room (i.e I WANT those clothes…) then every designer should be making films! Get on it!

Here’s a peek at my favourite shoes from Emma Cooks collection for Topshop, couldn’t mention it without showing it off!
